On Friday we worked with our partners again, and completed our homework on how United States presidents should be elected. I had always believed that they were chosen by the people, but it turns out that presidents are initially elected by the Electoral College. I'll admit that I'd never even heard of the Electoral College, but I'm happy that I know now. If it ever comes up in conversation, now I won't seem like an idiot!
